3 Practice B (page 93)

Text 3.1: "The main risk of interview employees."

Normally, any organisations that allows researchers to interview its employees, runs a big risk. It could happen because they could complain about their boss or other workers. Moreover, the danger is that employees would feel obligated to give positive answers instead of their own opinions because they can be afraid about what their boss finding out what they really think. Also, the reputation of the organisation would suffer, so researches mustn't let it happen. For example, if they say clearly why the are doing the research, and maintain the anonymity of their employees, the organisation won't run a risk anymore. If this doesn't happen, there are a lot of chances to be in danger again.
