30. Your worst habit

I have never thought about my worst habit since this moment but, when I have been thinking for a few minutes, one came to my mind. When I see that one of my pictures that are holding on my wall are not aligned, I feel the necessity to put it the correct way because looking at it when it is not in the perfect place stresses me. It also happens when I clean my room and I clean the frames. I move the pictures and I need them to pe placed perfectly. When I go to other part of my apartment and I see one picture, poster or painting that is not well-placed, I need to put it in the perfect way. I know it can also be stressful for other people when they see me putting them in the right place because it does not bother them, but I cannot pay attention to other things when I know that my pictures are not okay.

29. Music that is special to you

I have never listened to one single type of music because I love discovering new songs and singers, but it is true that the genre of music that I have listened the most during my hole life is pop or it variation, pop-rock. If I had to choose music from one singer, it would be music from Alexander Stewart. He is form Canada, but he is not very famous. I discovered him almost four years ago thanks to YouTube, where he posts covers of songs and his original ones. He has an amazing voice and I can say that his music has made my days happier because he is an amazing person and his songs express honesty and sincerity, specially the last one that he has launched, Compare Myself. That song explain that you do not have to compare yourself because you are perfect the way you are, and that mental health is also important. The day that he launched it, I woke up at 5 am to listen it and I could not go back to bed until I learnt the whole song. It took me one hour approximately because it is so easy...

28. A favourite possession

I have never thought about my favourite possession until now and after being a few minutes thinking, something so important for me came to my mind. It is a book of memories that I have since I was a child. On it, I keep photos, letters and small things that remind me to any special moment in my life. Every time that I see it, I start being happy because I love remembering good things from my past. On it, I have a special section where I keep photos of me and my cousin because we are very close, she is like a friend for me. I try to put new photos every month or even every two weeks to be able to remember good moments that I have spent with my family and friend when I am older. The last time read it, it was so heavy and I want to buy a new one to keep new future things, so that way, I can have a kind of saga of books that will make my day special when I read them.

27. A story from your childhood

One story that I always tell my friend from my childhood is the one when my cousins from France came to my city to spend our summer holidays together for the first time. I remember that when I first met them, I was a little bit scared because I was a very shy person. My cousins came with their parents and they stayed in my city for three weeks. As I have always said, I was a shy person but when I know new people for a long time, I am not shy to talk to them. Of course, we had to ask our parents to translate us what we wanted to say because we were around seven years and I did not spoke French and they did not spoke Spanish at that time. We enjoyed so much being together because we showed them the city and we went to the beach or to my countryside house to spend the days. I remember that I promised them that when I were older, I would speak French to be able to call them and talk to them and they did the same thing. When the three weeks passed and we had to say goodbye until the next su...

26. A belief you have or used to have

Since I was a child, I was a catholic person, but I did not practice that religion at all. I have been raised in a catholic family and I went to a catholic school since I was three years until I finished E.S.O. When I was almost seventeen, I decided to investigate more because I have never practiced that religion every day. I used to pray in the mornings when I went to school, but I never went to the church or pray in my home. When I started searching and thinking about bad things that happened in the world that god could have solutioned, I decide not to believe in that religion anymore. I just thought that if god does not like “being bad” and bad actions, he could stop poverty around the world, for example. I know that I it can sound very extreme, but that is what I think. If you believe in a person who is not proved to had existed and who does not like meanness in the world, why coronavirus exists? He could have already stopped it. Summing up, I can freely say that I do not believe i...

25. A movie star or singer you like.

Timothée Hal Chalamet, best known as Timothée Chalamet is the movie star that I most like. He was born on 27 December 1995, so, he is almost 25 years old. He was born in an artist’s family in Manhattan Plaza, in Hell's Kitchen, New York City, U.S.A. He has been actor since 2008, when he started to appear in commercials and short films such as Sweet tooth or Clown . He has been acting in short films, series and films, but he is well-known because of his films. His parents are Nicole Flender and Marc Chalamet and his sister’s name is Pauline. He studied in LaGuardia High School and Columbia University. My favourite films where he had acted in are The King , Beautiful Boy , Lady Bird , Little Women and, of course, Call Me By Your Name . I first watched the last one I have mentioned in 2019, two years after it was released, and thanks to that film I met Timothée and I became a huge fan of him. I love this film because of the story, the very beautiful landscapes, the actors, etc. This ...

24. Smoking in public places.

Smoking in public places is a topic very discussed in our society every day because there are different points of views. I think that it should not be forgiven but controlled. When I am walking in the street and I find that one person is smoking I feel bad because I think that I am smoking too. If somebody around you are smoking, you will be a passive smoker because you are inhaling that smoke. I think that smoking should be special places destinated to people who smoke so non smokers could live without breathing in that smoke. Just imagine that you are a parent that do not smoke, and you are in a park with your son. If someone comes next to you while is smoking, you may get angry because you would not like your son to be a passive smoker. Summing up, I would rather that people who smoke were in other places so people around them would not smoke too.

23. The best car you own.

I do not own a car because I do not even have my licence, but I am quite sure that if I had a car it would be one that helps the environment, such an electric or hybrid. It would also be a car that has five places to drive my friends. As I am vegetarian, the sits and pieces of the car would be made of fabric and not leather because I do not like to buy from factories that make their products with animal’s bodies. I think that it would also be a white or black one because I love neutral colours.

22. Your favourite food.

I love all types of food in general, but if I must choose just one to be my favourite, I would say pizza. I cannot remember when was the first time I tried it because I suppose I was a kid. As I am vegetarian, I have a lot of restrictions when I eat it because I do not put meat or fish on it, but I can do a lot of combinations with vegetarian ingredients. On pizza you can put as much as ingredients as you want and can, but I prefer the typical ones such as margherita, one of my favourites and one of the simplest.

21. Discrimination

Discrimination nowadays is a very controversial topic because we listen or watch new cases of it in the news everyday. This summer we had a very important example of it that was the murder of George Floyd in the United States. Huge amounts of people protested for a lot of weeks to make the government of the United States and every government around the world that discrimination should be eliminated. Fortunately, thanks to that murder, it became more visible the fact that everybody must be treated the same way. We should not judge people because of their skin colour or their nationality. We must think that everybody is equal, independent of if they look like us or not. I believe that if we keep progressing and thinking that we are in a very improved era, discrimination will be eradicated at least in every part of the world. As a society that has progressed a lot in technological areas or medicine during the past few years, we should start progressing in eliminating discrimination. Being...

20. Your first day in the United States

My first day in the United States was a little bit chaotic but at the same time it was great. When I arrived at the airport, my host family were waiting there for me and I could meet them for the first time in person. They were super kind and hospitable and they helped me carrying my suitcases. As it was midday, we went to their house to have meal, which was delicious, and then, I went to my room to place my clothes and things. I called my parents to make them know that I was fine and I presented my host family to my family. I went back to my new room and I took a nap because I was so tired, the flight was very long, and I needed to relax. When I woke up, my host sister drove me to my high school to be able to know it well before classes started. When we arrived home, my host parents asked me if I wanted to go out to have dinner, and, of course, I agreed. We went to a very famous restaurant in New York where we had one of the best dinners I’ve ever had in my entire life. When we arrive...

19. Your last day in your country

My last day in my country was two years ago because I decided to sing up for an exchange. I was very excited about the idea of living in New York, in the United States for almost a year, and at the same time, I was super nervous because I would not be able to see my family. That day, my parents prepared a party with my family and friends to say goodbye. It was spectacular because I met all my friends, even those ones that I hadn’t been able to see for a long time. We had dinner in a restaurant that my parents rented and then, we enjoyed the rest of the night dancing and talking about past times. I was super happy because I knew that I had a family here and I was going to have another family in the United States.

18. Shopping

Going shopping, from my point of view is quite annoying. When I finish going shopping and I arrive home, I fell super stressed because of the loud voices of people and the intense music. Hate going shopping to physical shops and that is why I prefer buying clothes and items that I need in my daily life online. When I shop online, I make sure that my orders are coming home on time and I also follow the trail of them by looking the information in the apps. Shopping online can also have a lot of disadvantages such as the loss of your order when it is being shipped or it maybe could get damaged or broken if it is too fragile. To sum it, I definitely prefer shopping online despite of its disadvantages and because I hate so much buying things in physical shop.
