Both living in a small town and in a big city are good options to start a new life, even if they have many differences that can affect the way you think. Living in a small toen will provide you more natural places to stay such as parks or the countryside. In the city, you will find man-made parks plenty of a lot of people. In a small town you won't find too many pollution because it won't be as crowded as a big city. In big cities we can find commonly a lot of vehicles that pollute a lot and the huge amounts of people that live there make this problem even worst. It is a fact that you will find more hospitals in a big city than in a small town, so, in that case, you would be safer living in a city. If you need to buy it would be easier for you if you live in a big city because there are more shops and supermarkets. So, if you live in a small town, you shouldn't be looking for exclusive products because there would be small supermarkets to buy necessary products. Living in a small town will be safer because there are lees people around there, so you won't have to be scared. But, if you live in a big city, you will find dangerous people and sometimes, there would be more accidents. A last difference is that towns are quieter and less busy than cities, which are supposed to be the contrary. Both places are a good option to live in but, if you want to make a good decision, you will have to think about it a lot because they have a lot of differences.

2nd topic. The advantages and disadvantages of having a job while at university.

Brainstorming: Listing method

Advantages

  • You will have money to pay your taxes.
  • You could live alone, so you can buy your own food.
  • You can make more friends.

Disadvantages

  • You won’t have enough time to attend to classes, do your homework or to study.
  • You won’t have enough time to meet your friends.
  • You could be late for your classes.

Block organisation

Working while you are studying at university has many disadvantages as advantages. When you have a job it is easier for you to pay your taxes at university or at home because you will have enough money. You could also live alone, so you would have to buy your own food or products to keep your house cleaned and organised. Having a job would let you get to know new people hand have new friends, so your social life wouldn't be a little bit more better. But, on the other hand, there are a lot of disadvantages of having a job while you are studying at university. You won’t have enough time to attend to classes, do your homework or to study, so, possibly, you would fail in your subjects and you would have to study again for more exams. You won’t have enough time to meet your friends that you met out of your job place, so your friendship with them could be lost. And, to finish with disadvantages, you could be late for your classes, so maybe you would have to ask your classmates for notes or explanations that you have lost. To sum up, I think that having a job while you study at university is an action that you should think about before doing it bacause you won't have time for your real life.
